TII 856 HALF RINGER And 831 RADIO FREQUENCY FILTER
The TII 856 Half Ringer is designed to be installed in parallel with the phone line at the customer's premises. The TII 856 Half Ringer provides a minimum impedance of half a normal telephone ringer circuit.
The TII 856V1 is supplied in an epoxy filled shell with 2-six inch leads for mounting in TII's 3200, 759 and 760 Network Interface Devices. This arrangement combines station protection and station electronics in one housing along with network interface for new or
existing installations. The TII 85601 is an environmentally sealed pc board with 2-six inch leads for mounting in TII's full line of Network Interface Devices (NIDs).

TII 831 RADIO FREQUENCY FILTER
The TII 831 is a two wire broadband low-pass filter designed to be placed in series with the tip and ring conductors. The Filter is designed to eliminate bothersome interference from the AM, FM, CB and TV VHF-LO bands. The circuit has no
adjustments and is essentially transparent to the voice band (0-20Hz).
The filter provides a minimum of 50dB attenuation at 540KHz, a minimum of 80dB at 108MHz and a midband attenuation of 100dB typical.
