Description

The CT3B1FS and CT3B1S standard series of 5 pin solid state protector modules are designed to provide superior transient and power fault protection for most standard telephone line applications. The characteristics of the solid state protector are far superior to gas tube technology in speed of response to faults and are virtually immune to overshoot, aging, and repeated tripping within rated limits. Nominal breakdown voltage for the CT3B1S is 300V, while the CT3B1FS is 240V.

Application:

The CT3B1FS and CT3B1S standard series are well suited to applications with building entrance terminals as well as central office protectors where heat coil or PTC current limiters are not required. These products provide excellent yet economical fault protection.
