DESCRIPTION
TII’s state-of-the-art 50 ohm Coaxial Lightning Protector is designed to protect today’s valuable communications equipment from lightning and transient surges. A lightning strike on a tower can destroy thousands of dollars in equipment, although
this can be insignificant to the amount of revenue lost due to equipment down time. TII’s protector is designed to protect not only your property, but your systems profits. Using TII lightning protection will greatly increase network reliability and significantly improve system
survivability.
Our unique patented coax gas tube has been designed specifically for the protection of coax cable. The gas tube has been designed to be impedance matched to 50 ohms. This allows the product to offer unparalleled RF performance over a very
large frequency range (DC – 2.5 GHz). This allows one product to be used for numerous applications.
